  • Inner health and healing 105 Danbury Road Ridgefield, CT, 06877 United States (map)

Our Teen Social Skills Group provides a supportive, structured environment where adolescents can build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and navigate social situations with greater ease. Led by a qualified clinician experienced in adolescent development, this group helps teens practice real-life skills in a safe, encouraging space.

Participants will learn and practice:

  • Effective communication (verbal + nonverbal)

  • Understanding social cues and body language

  • Managing anxiety in social settings

  • Building and maintaining friendships

  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution

  • Healthy boundary-setting and self-advocacy

Each session includes interactive activities, role-playing, group discussion, and guided skill practice. The group is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and tailored to meet teens where they are—whether they’re looking to make new friends, feel more confident in social situations, or strengthen everyday communication.

This group is ideal for teens who:

  • Experience social anxiety or shyness

  • Struggle with peer interactions or friendship dynamics

  • Want to improve their emotional awareness and communication

  • Benefit from structured practice and guided support
